The Indian Air Force (IAF) is set to conduct Dronathon-2026, a major three-day demonstration and evaluation event aimed at showcasing India’s emerging capabilities in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (CUAS).

The event will take place at the Pokhran Range in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, from September 14 to 16, 2026. It will bring together domestic defence manufacturers, start-ups, technology developers and innovators to demonstrate advanced unmanned and counter-drone technologies.

Unlike a conventional defence exhibition, Dronathon-2026 will include static displays as well as live demonstrations, allowing stakeholders to assess emerging technologies under operationally relevant conditions.

The Ministry of Defence says the event will help identify contemporary solutions and evaluate their combat effectiveness.
