He emphasized that in today’s global scenario, the message of peace and non-violence promoted by the museum is highly relevant for humanity.

Semiconductor Boost: Kaynes Plant Inaugurated in Ahmedabad

In another major development, the Prime Minister inaugurated the Kaynes Semicon Plant at Sanand GIDC in Ahmedabad.

This marks the beginning of commercial semiconductor production at the facility.

Key Highlights of the Plant

  • Production of Intelligent Power Modules (IPMs)
  • Crucial for:
    • Automotive sector
    • Industrial applications
  • Each module consists of 17 semiconductor chips
  • Supplies will be made to Alpha and Omega Semiconductor (USA-based firm)

Once fully operational, the plant is expected to achieve a massive production capacity of:

  • 6.33 million units per day

Strengthening India’s Semiconductor Ecosystem

The inauguration of this plant marks a significant step in India’s semiconductor mission, reducing dependence on imports and boosting domestic manufacturing.

Conclusion

The dual initiatives—promotion of cultural heritage through the Samrat Samprati Museum and advancement in high-tech manufacturing through the semiconductor plant—highlight India’s balanced focus on tradition and modern development.
