- PLASTINDIA 2026, one of the world’s leading plastics exhibitions, is currently underway in New Delhi.
- The Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers said that more than two thousand international exhibitors took part in the event and displayed advanced machinery, raw materials, and circular economy solutions.

- For the first time, PLASTINDIA was organised as a Zero Waste exhibition.
- The theme of the exhibition was “BHARAT NEXT”, in line with the vision of a Viksit and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
- A special space for youth, innovators, and start-ups was created to showcase sustainable plastic solutions and recognise their role in shaping the future of the industry.
