The Ministry of Finance has launched a unified online platform (Unified Unclaimed Assets Portal) that enables citizens to search and trace their unclaimed financial assets across multiple financial institutions.

The portal has been developed in collaboration with the PSB Alliance and aims to help individuals reconnect with forgotten or unclaimed financial assets such as bank deposits, insurance claims, shares, dividends, and mutual funds.

The newly launched portal serves as a common access point where citizens can search for unclaimed assets held across various segments of the financial ecosystem.

The unified platform was formally launched by M Nagaraju during a review meeting of public sector banks.
