The Department of Posts (India) is set to launch a new express delivery service called 24 Speed Post on 17 March 2026. The service will be officially launched by Jyotiraditya M. Scindia and Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani.
Next-Day Delivery for Urgent Consignments
The newly introduced 24 Speed Post service aims to ensure next-day guaranteed delivery for urgent and time-sensitive consignments. It is designed to strengthen the premium express delivery segment of India Post.
In the first phase, the service will be available in six major cities:

Additional Delivery Services
Alongside the new offering, the postal department will also introduce 24 and 48 Speed Post services with assured delivery timelines:

These services will operate through dedicated processing windows and priority air transmission, ensuring faster movement of parcels and documents.
