Taranjit Singh Sandhu Appointed as New LG of Delhi

Taranjit Singh Sandhu, India’s former ambassador to the United States, has been appointed as the new Lieutenant Governor (LG) of Delhi.
Earlier Sandhu served as India’s ambassador in Washington, D.C..
During his tenure there, he played an important role in strengthening strategic and economic relations between India and the United States.
His efforts focused on expanding cooperation in areas such as defence, technology, trade, and global security.
Over the years, Sandhu has been closely involved in several diplomatic initiatives aimed at deepening the partnership between the two countries.
With his appointment as Lieutenant Governor, Sandhu will now take on the constitutional responsibility of overseeing administrative affairs in Delhi, the national capital of India.
