- India has postponed the Fourth India-Africa Forum Summit, which was scheduled to take place in New Delhi from 28th to 31st May 2026, citing the evolving health situation in parts of Africa.
- The Ministry of External Affairs announced the decision after extensive consultations with the Chairperson of the African Union and the African Union Commission.
- According to the official statement, all sides mutually agreed that convening the summit at a later date would be more appropriate considering the current health concerns affecting several African regions.
- The Ministry confirmed that fresh dates for the India-Africa Forum Summit and its associated meetings will be finalised through mutual consultations and announced in due course.
