Venture capital firm Accel and the Google AI Futures Fund have announced the five startups selected for the 2026 Atoms AI Cohort, a programme aimed at supporting innovative solutions in enterprise, voice, and industrial artificial intelligence.

The startups were chosen from more than 4,000 applicants, reflecting the growing interest in building AI-driven technologies. According to the announcement, the selected companies will receive funding, infrastructure support, and mentorship to scale their innovations globally.

Funding and Infrastructure Support

  • Each selected startup will receive co-investment of up to $2 million along with up to $350,000 in compute credits. These credits can be used across Google Cloud, Gemini, and Google DeepMind.
  • The programme aims to help early-stage startups move from initial concept to global scale, leveraging both investment and advanced AI infrastructure.

Startups Selected for the Cohort

The five startups in the Atoms AI Cohort 2026 focus on different areas of artificial intelligence:

  • K-Dense – Developing an AI co-scientist to accelerate research in life sciences, physics, and chemistry.

  • Dodge.ai – Building autonomous AI agents designed to modernise enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

  • Persistence Labs – Using voice AI technology to transform large-scale call centre operations.

  • Zingroll – Creating AI-native entertainment and streaming experiences for consumers.

  • LevelPlane – Advancing industrial automation for precision-driven automotive and aerospace manufacturing.
