In a major step towards modernising law enforcement, the Centre for Development of Telematics has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Delhi Police to develop indigenous, secure, and technology-driven policing solutions for the national capital.

This collaboration aligns with the Government of India’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, aiming to enhance public safety through advanced homegrown technologies.

    • Enhances investigation and crowd monitoring

2. Secure Communication Systems

  • SAMVAD: Unified platform for messaging, calls, and data sharing
  • SAMVAD Prime: Secure handset-based communication for critical operations

3. Video Conferencing & Coordination

  • C-DOT Meet
    • Enables secure virtual meetings, briefings, and training

4. Mission-Critical Communication

  • MCX (Mission Critical Services)
    • Provides real-time, low-latency communication during emergencies and large-scale events

Administrative and Public Safety Solutions

  • Intelligent Attendance System
    • Facial recognition-based attendance and access control
  • Cell Broadcast Solution
    • Geo-targeted alerts for:
      • Traffic updates
      • Emergency warnings
      • Missing person notifications

Advanced Cybersecurity Framework

C-DOT will also strengthen cybersecurity with:

  • Trinetra ESOC
    • AI-powered monitoring of IT systems and threat detection
  • Trinetra 360
    • Cyber intelligence and digital risk management

Future-Ready Quantum Security

To ensure next-generation security, the collaboration includes:

  • Quantum-based solutions such as:
    • Compact Encryption Module (CEM)
    • Quantum Secure Smart Video Phone (QSSVIP)
    • Quantum Key Distribution (QKD)

These technologies will provide quantum-resilient secure communication systems for sensitive operations.
